Everybody wants an Apple First Apple reversed negative investor sentiment with a pledge to increase shareholder pay-outs to $100 billion - then it launched a record-breaking $17 billion bond offer last week to help fund it. The stock has put on more than 12 per cent since falling below $400 in mid-April. The bond issue also cut Apple's tax bill by more than $9 billion.
