Convenience food company Greencore is keeping up its appetite for acquisitions. Last week, the Santry-based, London-listed plc announced it was buying US food-to-go supplier Marketfare for $25 million. The move gets Greencore into 1,200 7-Eleven stores on America's east coast and is expected to lift US sales by more than £40 million. Analyst said the acquisition could eventually help Greencore, which is headed by chief executive Patrick Coveney, increase sales to customers in the US...
