Market Leaders: Green sector still attracts interest

Solid returns in the green energy sector mean there is investment out there for strong start-ups, writes Linda Daly.

Anumber of green sector funding rounds closed last year, with Irish and international investors showing interest in new and growing firms around the country despite the difficult economic backdrop.

The Memorandum of Understanding signed last month by Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources Pat Rabbitte and his British counterpart, Edward Davey, highlighted the potential of Ireland's green market.
