The key factor in delivering a successful managed service is a clear understanding between both parties of the roles that they have to play, according to Stephen Colgan, head of sales, Cable & Wireless Ireland. "Ultimately the customer is buying a service level from the vendor around the availability of key applications, as opposed to specific pieces of infrastructure," he said.
