Nearly 80 per cent of people believe house prices will continue to rise over the coming year, a new buyer sentiment survey has shown.

One third of respondents said they plan to buy within the next 12 months

Nearly 80 per cent of people believe house prices will continue to rise over the coming year, a new buyer sentiment survey has shown.

The survey, commissioned by MyHome.ie found that while the majority believe house prices will continue their upward trend, 9 per cent felt that prices would remain static over the next year.

About 13 per cent of respondents said they expected prices would fall over the next 12 months.
