One of the world's largest investment management organisations has reduced its stake in Bank of Ireland in recent days.
A stock exchange filing shows that the Capital Group of companies sold over 80 million of its shares to reduced its stake in the bank to just below 9 per cent. The transaction means that the group now owns 2.699 billion shares, down from 2.78 billion, leaving its stake at 9.958 per cent.
