Over 780 lots of furniture, paintings and decorative arts will go under the hammer at Mealy’s this week.

Furniture highlights include an exceptional pair of mahogany dining-room wine coolers, each in the Adam style and probably made by Butler of Dublin (€4,500-€5,500), a fine mahogany pedestal writing desk in the Chippendale style (€3,800-€4,500), and two good rosewood pieces; an elegant Regency sofa table (€800€1,200); and a somewhat unusual library games/writing table....
