Wellness Foods, the health food company backed by the Irish horseracing magnates John Magnier and JP McManus, is weighing up a £50 million sale of its Dorset Cereals division.

Wellness, a mini food conglomerate with a strong Irish shareholder roster, has received a number of unsolicited bids for Dorset Cereals, and is now considering whether to formally put the granola maker on the market.
