Best-selling Irish author and journalist Maeve Binchy, who sold millions of books worldwide, left more than Euro 10 million in her will when she died in July 2012.

Best-selling Irish author and journalist Maeve Binchy, who sold millions of books worldwide, left more than €10 million in her will when she died in July 2012.

Records filed at the Probate Office in Dublin show that the Dalkey-based writer, also known as Maeve Snell, left €10,065,628. Binchy died on July 30, 2012, aged 72.
