The development firm behind MacDonagh Junction, the new €110 million city quarter in Kilkenny, is asking creditors to write off up to 38 per cent of their debts after encountering financial difficulties.

The development firm behind MacDonagh Junction, the new €110 million city quarter in Kilkenny, is asking creditors to write off up to 38 per cent of their debts after encountering financial difficulties.

MacDonagh Junction Developments, which built the shopping centre and adjacent apartments, is experiencing ‘‘liquidity problems’’ and is seeking to agree deals with its creditors.
