Businessman Philip Lynch and his family have lost their bid in the High Court to have a €25 million loan declared non-recourse, according to a report on *The Irish Times* website. The family toook out the loan from AIB in February 2007 to purchase lands at Kilbarry in Waterford along with property developer Gerard Conlon, who was also a party to the loan.
