Luxury motoring: Mercedes breaks with convention
Mercedes has added extra aesthetic to its niche model CLS with the Shooting Brake variant, writes Kyle Fortune.
Mercedes-Benz broke new ground with the original CLS, its 'four-door coupé' borrowing a great deal from the E-Class but adding catwalk looks to create a whole new sector. You could call it fusion motoring, the result greater than the sum of its parts. Mercedes-Benz owns the niche market, innovating and pushing boundaries and its latest creation builds on the CLS range - the Shooting Brake - or estate in regular parlance.
