Deutsche Lufthansa, Europe’s second-biggest airline, has cancelled more than 1,000 flights as the main cabin crew union started its biggest strike ever.
Flight attendants walked off the job today for the third time in a week, extending this strike to 24 hours and all of Lufthansa’s German operations.
The Germany-based carrier operates about 1,800 flights each day.
