European airlines have moved to the frontline of the battle between the world’s major aircraft manufacturers for market supremacy.
Earlier this week it was reported that Ryanair is eyeing up an order of up to 200 Boeing 737s. But there was good news for Airbus this morning after it was reported that Europe’s second largest airline, Lufthansa, has agreed to renew its short-haul fleet with 100 mostly fuel-efficient aircraft from the European manufacturer.
