LRC intervenes as Bus Eireann strike threatens to escalate

The Labour Relations Commission has offered to mediate in the Bus Éireann dispute, which saw more than 95 per cent of the company’s services halted today because of strike action.

The talks, which will have no preconditions, are scheduled to begin at 8pm.
