Louis Walsh has settled his defamation action against News Group Newspapers in Ireland in an out of court settlement worth €500,000.

Louis Walsh has settled his defamation action against News Group Newspapers in Ireland in an out of court settlement worth €500,000.

Walsh had sued The Sun over a story last year based on a false allegation that he sexually assaulted a man in a Dublin nightclub. The man was subsequently jailed for making the false allegation.
