The Molloy pub and off-licence group made a €2.2 million loss last year, after taking a significant hit on its investment portfolio.

The Molloy pub and off-licence group made a €2.2 million loss last year, after taking a significant hit on its investment portfolio.

The group lost almost €800,000 on the sale of quoted investments, and also provided for a further loss of €950,000 on the value of other investments, according to newly-filed accounts for the year to the end of January20 09.

Turnover fell from €33.4million to €31.6 million during the year. It was the second year...
