London Independent to cease sale in Ireland

The London Independent will no longer be available to purchase in Ireland, following a decision to pull it due to "high costs" and low sales.

The London Independent will no longer be available to purchase in Ireland, following a decision to pull it due to "high costs" and low sales.

However, the media group's i newspaper, which is aimed at a youth demographic, will continue to be sold here.

The announcement was made by the newspaper group's head of circulation, John Simmonds, in an advertisement that appeared in this morning's edition of the Independent.
