London hotel snapped up by WG Mitchell

Northern Irish developer WG Mitchell has acquired the Bonnington Hotel in London for over €100 million from the Bonnington group.

Northern Irish developer WG Mitchell has acquired the Bonnington Hotel in London for over €100 million from the Bonnington group.

The group is owned by the McGettigan family of hoteliers. The four-star,2 60-room hotel in Bloomsbury was opened by Lord Strathcona in 1911.

The Bonnington group is the holding company for Regency hotels in Ireland and for other activities, such as property investment and development.
