Logistics firm launches €2m depot in Ashford

A Co Meath logistics firm has entered into a joint venture agreement to supply retail multiples in the British market. Brian Caffrey International has partnered with British firm Oaklands to launch a new €2 million supply depot in Ashbourne.

The venture, which will trade under the Oaklands brand, will provide transport services to British and Irish suppliers selling to retailers in both countries. Caffrey’s 30,000 square foot multi-temperature facility will operate as a satellite depot to Oakland’s British depots in Alcester and Redditch , accommodating ambient, chilled and frozen products.
