Last Monday, the south eastern area committee of Dublin’s city councillors met and rejected Sean Dunne’s plans for his proposed 37-storey tower in Ballsbridge.

In the final analysis, the proposed development was rejected on the grounds that the allocated office space exceeded limits set out in the development plan, but the councillors had a lot more to say than that.
