Lloyds takes €60 million legal action against Doyle

British lender Lloyds Bank has started a legal action against publican and businessman Sean Doyle over €70 million he borrowed from the bank to fund property plays and business ventures.

British lender Lloyds Bank has started a legal action against publican and businessman Sean Doyle over €70 million he borrowed from the bank to fund property plays and business ventures.

Doyle, a former director of the now-defunct Thomas Read pub group, is being pursued through the High Court, with the bank seeking a judgment of between €60 million and €70 million against him.
