Morning shows gained ground in the latest Joint National Listenership Research (JNLRs), while some national late afternoon radio shows were under pressure in the first three months of the year.

Conor White, head of radio at Mindshare, said there had been slight increases for Morning Ireland and John Murray on RTE Radio 1. On 2FM, Breakfast with Hector also saw an improvement in figures "off the very low base", White said. He was comparing figures...
