LinkedIn, the multinational technology giant valued at $27 billion, (Euro 19.5 billion) is altering its accounting structure to shield the performance of its Irish operations from the public view.

The Californian networking website has applied to the Companies Office in Ireland to register its main Irish companies as unlimited, a move that dramatically limits the amount of information that the company must publicly disclose.
