Austrian-owned costume jewellery manufacturer Andersen Ireland, which has 169 staff in Rathkeale in Limerick, is to be put into voluntary liquidation.
Its owner PL Holdings said the move was due to continued losses generated by significant over-capacity issues at its production facility.
PL said it would concentrate manufacturing in its remaining facility in Vienna where central functions such as design, prototyping and process planning are located.
