Publican Oliver Hughes is putting a €7 million expansion of Dublin nightspot Lillie’s Bordello on hold because of proposed changes to nightclub closing times.
The Intoxicating Liquor Bill 2008, which was being debated in the Dail last week, proposes that all late-night bars and clubs will close at the same time – 2.30am from Monday to Saturday, and 1am on Sundays.
