Lightstorm Networks raises €4.35m to expand in the US

Lightstorm Networks, a Galway semiconductor firm, plans to expand in the US after raising €4.35 million in funding from existing investors.

Lightstorm Networks, a Galway semiconductor firm, plans to expand in the US after raising €4.35 million in funding from existing investors.

Bryan Campbell, the chief executive of Lightstorm, said the company would hire salespeople in the US as part of a significant investment in sales and marketing.

He described the new investment as ‘‘the second tranche’’ of Lightstorm’s first round investment.
