Liberty Mutual to rebrand Quinn Insurance in 2012

Liberty Mutual Group said it will rebrand the Quinn Insurance Ltd. assets it acquired as Liberty Insurance in 2012.

Liberty Mutual Group said it will rebrand the Quinn Insurance Ltd. assets it acquired as Liberty Insurance in 2012.

Liberty acquired Quinn Irish general insurance business as part of a joint venture with Irish Bank Resolution Corp, formerly Anglo Irish Bank. Liberty Insurance in Ireland will be chaired by Edmund F. Kelly, chairman of the Boston-based insurer, and led by Patrick O’Brien, Liberty said in a statement today.
