Lexus NX set to make waves in competitive SUV market

Luxury Japanese car maker Lexus's steady recovery in sales is set to be bolstered further with the introduction of an all-new compact SUV, writes Dave Humphreys.

Lexus expects the demand for its latest SUV to be high, with predictions that it could account for almost 30 per cent of overall sales in Ireland in 2015.

When it comes to mid-size SUVs, Lexus is somewhat late to the party, although with its new NX, it would appear to be fashionably late. The all-new model follows the Japanese firm’s current trend of blending premium luxuries with polarising, edgy styling - and of course utilising the latest in hybrid technology.
