While Honda may have taken home the silverware, Lexus bosses were also celebrating at the Detroit Show.

Latest figures show that the Japanese company remained the top seller of luxury cars in the US for the sixth year in succession.

Last year, Lexus sold 302,895 new cars in the US, including 20,674 examples of the RX400h, despite struggling to meet demand for these hybrid models.
