Lexus emissions top of the class

The latest Lexus hybrid, the GS450h, which was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, confirms the company's intention to produce frugal high-performance hybrids.

The latest Lexus hybrid, the GS450h, which was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, confirms the company's intention to produce frugal high-performance hybrids.

Outputs of the 3.5 litre petrol engine and the electric motor combine to produce 340bhp.

This propels the car to 100 km/h in less than six seconds. Lexus claims that the car's average fuel consumption is the same as a four-cylinder two-litre petrol model.
