Stale criticisms

My fellow Dublin City Councillor Dermot Lacey of the Labour Party (Letters to the Editor, 22/12/2013) provided some Sunday-morning amusement with his missive on Sinn Féin. Councillor Lacey's criticism of myself as chair of the Dublin City Council Finance Committee, with regard to the Council's annual budget, is now as stale as a five-year-old Christmas chestnut.
