‘Fat cats’ should be encouraged

Apart from the fact that Vincent Browne’s calculations of how much tax people pay (15/3/2009) do not tally with those of any of the nation’s accountancy firms, his calm suggestion that the nation’s ‘‘fat cats’’ should feel most of the pain is apparently based on the assumption that all the country’s fat cats are rich crooks from banking or building....
