Your editorial (*22/07/2012*) justifiably stresses that we cannot afford the luxury of a government on holidays for eight weeks, with tasks such as giving practical effect to transferring some of our assumed bank debts to the new European bailout fund - no mean task! But school is out and, already, we have ministers busy grand-standing and kite-flying at so-called summer schools that have become little more than ministers' soapboxes.
