Leaving Cert: Viewing your script and the results appeal process

If a student wishes to view their scripts to appeal a result, they have until Tuesday, August 20 to return their personalised application form.

Comparatively few people choose to view their scripts. Even fewer decide to appeal a result. Having viewed a script, application to appeal should be made only if a candidate clearly believes there are reasonable grounds for appeal. When the Leaving Cert results are issued on Wednesday, all students will receive from their school or centre all the necessary supporting documentation from the State Examinations Commission (SEC) informing them of the viewing and appeal process.
