Leading banks the most expensive for student loans

Permanent TSB, Bank of Ireland and AIB offer the most expensive student loans on the market, according to a survey by The Sunday Business Post.

Permanent TSB, Bank of Ireland and AIB offer the most expensive student loans on the market, according to a survey by The Sunday Business Post.

Permanent TSB - the most expensive student lender - charges interest of 11.7 per cent on personal loans for students, followed by Bank of Ireland, which charges 9.7 per cent interest, and AIB, which charges 9.25 per cent interest. National Irish Bank, which charges 8.2 per cent interest, offers the cheapest student loans.
