A challenge to the powers of tribunals of inquiry has been fixed for the High Court.
Lawyers for Hazel Lawlor, widow of late TD Liam Lawlor, are set to challenge the civil ‘‘reasoned opinion’’ burden of proof used by tribunal judges.
It is part of Lawlor’s long-awaited judicial review hearing against the Mahon planning tribunal, in a hearing scheduled for July 10.
