Almost €10 million of public money was spent last year on preliminary work for the €365 million redevelopment of Lansdowne Road.

The Lansdowne Road Stadium Development Committee (LRSDC), a joint venture between the FAI and the IRFU, received the money through a series of non-repayable grants from the exchequer.
