The Marker Hotel and apartments complex, with its gleaming exterior and contemporary design, has long been a centerpiece of Dublin’s buzzing, tech-saturated docklands area.

It’s hip, it’s modern – and, as it turns out, it’s a very good investment.

The apartments alone sold for just over €50 million earlier this month, generating a stunning profit for Brehon Capital Partners and Midwest Holdings, who purchased the entire complex for about €30 million in 2011.
