Lance Armstrong to be interviewed on Oprah

Lance Armstrong has agreed to be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey in his first media appearance since being stripped of his seven Tour de France cycling titles and being banned from Olympic sports for life for doping.

The 90-minute episode of “Oprah’s Next chapter” will air on January 17, the Oprah Winfrey Network said in a statement on its website last night. The interview will be available simultaneously on Oprah.com.
