Lagan sales near double following US foray

Belfast software firm Lagan Technologies had sales of £14.3 million (€20.6 million) in the year to the end of March, a 44 per cent increase on last year.

Belfast software firm Lagan Technologies had sales of £14.3 million (€20.6 million) in the year to the end of March, a 44 per cent increase on last year.

While the company made a pre-tax loss of £2.3 million, it said the ‘‘planned losses form part of the investor-backed business plan’’. The company has been expanding into the US market in particular and last year bought an American firm called Peter Martin Associates.
