Lagan raises €8.75m funding

Belfast firm Lagan Technologies has raised stg£6 million (€8.75 million) in funding and completed a US acquisition that should help sales rise by 50 per cent this year.

Belfast firm Lagan Technologies has raised stg£6 million (€8.75 million) in funding and completed a US acquisition that should help sales rise by 50 per cent this year.

Jamie Andrews, chief financial officer of Lagan, said the company would hire 50 more staff this year, bringing its total employment to 200 people.

Lagan is targeting the US market, after buying Peter Martin Associates, a US developer of so-called ‘human services’ software.
