Lagan Brick dispute comes to an end
A long-standing dispute at the Cavan-based Lagan Brick manufacturing plant has ended with an agreement between management and workers.
A long-standing dispute at the Cavan-based Lagan Brick manufacturing plant has ended with an agreement between management and workers.
Trade union SIPTU said its members had voted to accept proposals which provide for an equitable conclusion to the long running dispute.
SIPTU Organiser, John Regan, said: “The workers ended their strike action this morning ... This agreement now provides the workers with an opportunity to get back to a normal life.”
