Labour and Fine Gael are clashing over a Fine Gael promise to sell off council houses to their tenants at a discount after the election.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has promised that his party's councillors will push the forthcoming tenant purchase scheme and give an attractive discount to tenants who want to buy their council house. Around 22,000 houses were sold off at discounts of up to 30 per cent under the previous tenant purchase scheme...
