KPMG partners take action against developers

Thirteen partners in KPMG in Dublin are taking a multimillion euro legal action against two shareholders in Walsh Maguire, a collapsed construction firm.

Thirteen partners in KPMG in Dublin are taking a multimillion euro legal action against two shareholders in Walsh Maguire, a collapsed construction firm.

The accountants are suing Liam Moran and Vincent Maguire in a personal capacity, arising from money they had allegedly invested with Walsh Maguire.

The 13 partners are claiming that the two men personally guaranteed the money, plus a specified interest payment. They are now suing to enforce the guarantees, following the collapse...
