Knife crime cuts deep

A series of stabbings has highlighted the extent of knife crime in this country, but dealing with it effectively is proving difficult for gardai, writes John Burke, Public Affairs Correspondent

This day last week these hocking events that took place in Cuala Grove, Bray, Co Wicklow, began to unfold. Gardaí who arrived at the scene of a frenzied knife attack found one young man, Sebastian Creane, already dead and his girlfriend and his brother seriously injured.
