A multimillion euro High Court dispute has broken out over the proposed sale of Kinnitty Castle, the upmarket hotel and resort in Co Offaly.

The Hanly Group, the Roscommon development and construct ion group, has launched legal proceedings against the hotel’s current owner, Con Ryan, following the collapse of the proposed sale of the hotel for €16 million.
