Kingspan founder and chairman Eugene Murtagh has acquired a five-star hotel in the fashionable Bayswater area of London, close to Lancaster Gate, writes Ed Micheau.

Kingspan founder and chairman Eugene Murtagh has acquired a five-star hotel in the fashionable Bayswater area of London, close to Lancaster Gate, writes Ed Micheau.

The Hempel is a minimalist modern design by acclaimed British designer Anouska Hempel. The acquisition of the hotel and other commercial property interests is seen as part of a rebalancing of Murtagh's personal investment portfolio.
