Midland Radio Group, the main shareholder in Shannonside/Northern Sound, has sold back its 20 per cent stake of Kildare radio station KFM to its remaining shareholders for around €2 million.
Midland Radio Group, the main shareholder in Shannonside/Northern Sound, has sold back its 20 per cent stake of Kildare radio station KFM to its remaining shareholders for around €2 million.
More than 87 per cent of KFM is now owned by a group of 16 individuals associated with Co Kildare, including Gaelic footballer Glenn Ryan, horse trainer Dermot Weld and Anna May McHugh of the National Ploughing Association.
