Keystone buys Dublin spice burger maker

Global food group Keystone Foods has today announced the acquisition of Finglas-based based firm Walsh Family Foods, the company behind the trademarked spice burger.

Global food group Keystone Foods has today announced the acquisition of Finglas-based based firm Walsh Family Foods, the company behind the trademarked spice burger.

All staff will be retained, Keystone said. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Kieran Wallace of KPMG had been appointed as Receiver to Walsh Family Foods in 2009.

Keystone Foods said the deal represented an opportunity to broaden its food processing business in Europe.
